REAL LIFE

Testing, Testing ...

Hi, Cara here!

Many people are aware of animal testing, but do not consider it when they shop. They think that the experiments run on animals are ethical and do not harm the animal. However, despite what they may think, animals in testing labs are being treated brutally. Every day many animals die due to experiments. When you pick up cosmetics or household products, do you consider the fact that an animal's life may have been taken so that you could buy it? Do you consider how the animals that the product was tested on were treated? Every day animals are being taken advantage of in terribly abusive ways.

If you feel any love for animals, I would encourage you to look into products and companies that do not test on animals. Ask yourself this: Why is it not okay to have Pitbull fighting or torture companion animals, but it is okay to support animal testing? Also, would you like to see your animal locked in a cage, taken out only to be pumped full of chemicals, and never given any affection?

If you would like to find out more about animal testing or the many other forms of animal abuse, please go to caringconsumer.com or allforanimals.com. There you will find lists of products not tested on animals. Personally, I choose not to support testing. I also don't consume any meats, dairy, or animal related products. If you would like to find out how eating animal products serves as a source of abuse please visit goveg.com or peta.com.

Thanks so much for reading!
