Yellow - The New Pink?

I confess. I'm a pink freak. Half the clothes in my closet are pink. When I began hearing rumors and seeing the latest copies of fashion magazines, a panic overtook me.
YELLOW!!!
Oh nooooooo!!
No need to call 911. I'm okay now.
The color yellow is definitely in for the Spring 2007 season. To be honest, I don't think yellow can replace pink, but you will be seeing a clear rise in yellow everywhere. We're not just talking about mustard yellow here, but also very bright yellows. Yellow works especially well with white, black, or navy blue. I suggest accenting your outfit with bright or deep red fashion accessories for a bold touch, specifically belts, shoes, purses, necklaces, and bracelets.
A single article of yellow clothing, such as a fancy shirt or striped legwear, or a simple fashion accessory, such as a thick bangle bracelet, can add a nice touch to your spring outfit. However, too much bright yellow can make you look like the "Elevator Person"!! *
You may even want to try mixing both pink and yellow for the ultimate Spring 2007 outfit! Remember, you can survive the Yellow Revolution by ignoring it ... or you can embrace and enjoy it!
* An annoying character I play on stage in a sketch. The "Elevator Person" is the person you would least like to be stuck with for hours in a broken elevator.
