When I told you that I loved you, why were you so quick to hang up the phone?
I know you never realized, I'm sorry I told you so soon,
But with feelings like these, well, they could take me to the moon.
Your smile defeats me, your laugh makes me cry.
When I told you I loved you, I didn't want a goodbye,
So please let me love you, like it was meant to be,
Because, in my mind, I need a you and me.
