My name is Sarah and I'm 18 years old. I have a mom and a dad and an older sister who is 21. I don't spend much time with my family and don't know them very well, otherwise I would tell you more. I have a kitten I call Skeeter! He is adorable!

I graduated high school in June 2007 at the age of 16, and attended Berks Technical Institute a month later. I graduated BTI in April of 2008 at the age of 17. I am now a professional massage therapist working for a chiropractic agency. In my profession I love making people feel good, and if I can relieve someone of muscle pain, I will work my hardest to do so. I like to sacrifice everything I have for others.

I write for Sweet Designs Magazine because it gives me a sense of self joy. I am able to use my experiences to help other girls like me struggling through the same things. It also gives me an opportunity to express my feelings in a way that keeps me out of trouble and helps me not to feel like I'm alone in my struggles. I appreciate everything that SDM is doing for girls around the world.

I have three close friends - Nebin, Nikki, and my boyfriend Matt. I'm very outgoing and easy to get along with, but it seems I have a hard time finding genuine friends. I love being surrounded by people; it makes me feel secure. If I have to choose between being alone for a walk on the beach or having to work my way through a crowded boardwalk, I'd choose the boardwalk. My best friend Nebin is spending the year in India and Nikki has been shipped off to Lockhaven for college. I've been with Matt for a year and eight months. He is the light of my life, and I can't imagine being without him. He has supported me through every trial I have had. We plan to be engaged this fall, but then wait till we are both ready to get married.

I'm my own self and I don't like to depend on other people. I work hard to have a good future, and I won't let anything stop me from living the way I want to. I don't do much without my friends, but we are always smiling! I love to go to parties and have a good time while being responsible. I adore playing volleyball and soccer. I like to live life to the fullest, yet still taking time to stop and take a deep breath and enjoy the life I have been given to live.

I listen to a wide variety of music, ranging from Korn and Mindless Self Indulgence to Sean Kingston and Warren Zevon. I do not enjoy listening to country though. My absolute favorite movie of all time is Snatch. Next would have to be The Marine.

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." - Helen Keller
