Waiting

Sometimes there is nothing you can do. Sometimes the only thing you can do is wait ... sit ... watch ... wait.
This is life. Like it or not, take it or leave it. Right here, right now, your life is unfolding before you. The good times will be great and the bad times will be horrible. There never seems to be much in the middle. And through it all - the fears, the doubts, the tribulations - we still remain hopeful. We still carry out faith and believe in miracles and wish on stars.
Throughout it all love still remains, although it's not always easy to see. Sometimes it gets buried or tossed to the side, but it's still there, strong as ever. Always persevering, just like me, just like you, just like us. Sometimes the simple fact that we get up each morning, that we still have the strength to carry on our day, the fact that hope remains with us is enough reason for us to continue.
Sometimes all you can do is wait ... wait for the love to shine through.
