How to Stay Hott, and Look It Too

By Jasmine, age 14, Michigan

Here in Michgan we have had snow quite a few times, and we're notorious for our snow. So during the winter, being cute isn't always the first thing on fashionistas' minds - being warm is. So here are a few key items for those who want to look hot, and feel it too.

Tips for City Boots

Wear some of the shorter boots (like the Wet Seal or the UGGs) with a cute pair of leg warmers.

Wear all of the boots with a cute pair of skinny jeans. It'll keep you warm and it's a simple outfit to wear at school or at home.

Left: Uggs Classic Boots available for $140.00.
Right: Baker's BEV Slouch Boots available at www.bakersshoes.com or your local store for $79.99.

Left: Cassella Aldo's Boots available at www.aldoshoes.com or your local store for $130.00.
Right: Short Buckle Boots available at www.wetseal.com or your local store for $32.50.

What do all of these boots have in common? They're all city fashionable. All of these boots are great for snow (most are waterproof), as well as looking cute.

Tips for Cute Jackets

Make your handbags somewhat color coordinate with your jackets. Pick a color scheme for the day.

Keep your jacket clean! Who wants to have a cute jacket with a large hot chocolate stain across the chest? No one! If you are one of those clumsy gals who manages to dirty up her jackets, just follow the laundering instructions on the tag.

Not only will these jackets keep you from freezing your little butt off, but they will also will save you hundreds!

Accessorize!

Mix in any of these accessories to complete a great outfit (and a warm one!)
