More Spring Styles!

By Jasmin, age 14, Indiana

Although just last month we explored some bright, trendy spring fashions, there are plenty more where those came from! Get ready for sun dresses, sandals, and all the Spring Break essentials!

First off, we can't ever have enough sunglasses! They are cute and trendy, yet useful when needed. They go all the way from oversized and square to gold aviators! And we can't forget the new hip wayfarer trend! Ray-Ban seems to be a popular brand for the celebrities, but for those who can't afford a $70 pair of glasses, go to your local Target or even a local vintage shop - they're sure to have some!

To go with those cute sunglasses, we gotta match 'em up with an equally adorable outfit ... like a bright eye-popping sun dress! Floral print, stripes, dots - any pretty pattern will do. A short, trendy heart sun dress will work, or you can go traditional and have a classic floral maxi dress! It's all about dressing it up or down, whichever one suits the occasion or even your mood!

To top this whole look off - some awesome sandals! We've already mentioned gladiator shoes - they are extremely cute - and there are tons of other kinds of sandals you could wear on Spring Break. Flip-flops are always an option, and you can find them practically anywhere. Wedge heels are making a comeback this year, and you can definitely wear some pretty, beachy wedges around on the beach. 'Slingback flats' are new, and they appear to be doing very well, considering they are a mix between our favorite sandalwear: flip-flops and gladiators!

So now that the spring low-down is done (for now) always keep in mind to wear your style with pride and confidence - even during those embarrassing moments when you forget to untuck your sun dress from your undies! :)
