FASHION

Recessionista

By Samantha, age 13, Indiana

With the recession going on, you still want to be fashionable, right? But not everyone has the money to buy all their clothes from Saks, wear Chanel makeup, and tote a Louis Vuitton handbag. And that's okay. But here are some ideas to still look fashionable for less.

Target

Target may be where you go to get groceries or maybe medicine. But have you looked at their clothes? They have the latest trends for less. Pretty much everything is under thirty dollars. What a bargain, right?!

Plaid shirt available for $15.00 at www.target.com or your local store.
Dress available for $24.99 at www.target.com or your local store.

Forever 21

You may have seen Forever 21 in the mall, and just passed by it. Or, you may have tons of clothes from Forever 21. They have cute, fashionable, and very inexpensive clothes. Next time you're at the mall, go check it out.

Plaid shirt available for $19.90 at www.forever21.com or your local store.
Dress available for $7.99 at www.forever21.com or your local store.

Miley Cyrus & Max Azria for Walmart, and OP for Walmart

I know Walmart isn't always on my mind when I think of fashion. But, just the other day, I took a look at the new collection from Miley Cyrus. The clothes are very cute and inexpensive. I bought a pair of skinny jeans. Miley Cyrus also has graphic tees, jeans, tops, dresses, and jackets. OP has bathing suits, tanks, and tees. They are all inexpensive ... and very cute! So, the next time you're grocery shopping, make sure you look at these collections!

Shirt available for $5.00 at www.walmart.com or your local store.
Dress available for $6.00 at www.walmart.com or your local store.

Now that we've looked at a few stores with great prices, you can look fabulous, without having an empty wallet. Treat yourself to a shopping spree. You never know what you'll find! (:
