Frosted Glass

Featured Gold Star Writer Bio

She watches the world through frosted glass
Only seeing what she wants to believe
Figures, colors, and blurred faces
She can make them out to be whatever she desires to see
A perfect talent
An envied gift
Only by outsiders
Who sometimes wish they could just make believe
For a only moment
Through a frosted glass
But what they don't know is
How it might be to be trapped, forever masked
Never sure of what she's seeing
Not knowing what to believe in
She remains, unsure, afraid
Forever jaded
By a prison of frosted glass
