Summer's Day
By Raj, age 21, England, United Kingdom
It was the date she had been waiting for,It felt more surreal than the dream,
Tall tree and weeds lined the overgrown bank,
The sun shied away from the scene.
She'd stolen her mother's perfume,
And she'd stolen her sister's shoes,
He said, "I want YOU baby,
YOU'RE the one I choose."
So he rowed her down the river fast,
In a rented wooden boat,
The sooner this was over with,
The sooner he could gloat.
