Why I Write for SDM: I write for SDM because I love being able to express my thoughts and opinions, and knowing that there are people out there reading my work. The other writers are so great and produce wonderful articles, and it's nice to be a part of that.
Activities, Sports, Interests: Well, obviously I love writing, as well as reading books - sometimes I go through five a week. I'm also on the school debate team, which I love because of the adrenaline rush that comes when I debate, but that's as close to a sport as I get!
Favorite Authors: This is a tough one, but some of my favorites include John Green, Maureen Johnson, David Levithan, Jenny Han, Lauren Barnholdt, Justina Chen Headley, Natalie Standiford, and Kate Williams.
Favorite School Subjects: I'm going to have to go with lit and math, which is a bit of an odd pair!
Favorite Movies & TV Shows: I don't watch a lot of movies, but some of my favorite TV shows are The Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Modern Family, The Middle, and The Big Bang Theory.
I listen to: My favorite bands at the moment are Panic At the Disco, Kids in Glass Houses, You Me At Six, All Time Low, and The Dresden Dolls.
Most Important Values: To me, it's important to be true to yourself and never change just for someone else, as well as to be loyal and honest to your friends and family.
I enjoy: Reading, writing, debating, and hanging out with my friends.
Future Plans: I aspire to be a published author some day, but beyond that, I'm not sure what I want to do yet.
