Why I Write for SDM: I write for Sweet Designs Magazine because Teendom is the one of the scariest portions of a person's life, when you first start learning how to cope with various changes that affect your life. I think it's important to express yourself during these times to help others overcome the travesties of Teendom by knowing it's possible to make it through these tough times, and that there are survivors.

Activities, Sports, Interests: I love to sing, and play the piano and the saxophone. I also love to start random businesses. I think my heart lies in entrepreneurship, but after awhile, I try to start something new when I get bored with a business.

Favorite Authors: My favorite authors are Agatha Christie and Jack Kerouac. I like Kerouac's spontaneous nature, and I've never even read any of Christie's novels, but I have always wanted to finish at least one of her books.

Favorite School Subject: My favorite subjects are English and choir. I love the stage and the pen. In my opinion, those are two tools I could never live without.

Favorite Movies & TV Shows: I love to watch random indie movies. So far, French films like Paris, J'taime, Amelie, and Persepolis are my favorites.

I listen to: Lots of British indie music and classic rock. I dig the Rolling Stones, the Fratellis, the Arctic Monkeys, the Libertines, the Sex Pistols, and the Killers. General rule of thumb: if the article "the" precedes the title of the band, I dig it.

Most Important Values: Include individuality and equality. I don't like finding out there are other people in this world who aren't treated fairly. If I see a problem, I fix it.

I enjoy: Black and white movies and masquerade balls.
