Why I Write for SDM: I write for SDM because I've always wanted to get my work out there for people to enjoy. I write for my school's newspaper and I'm in creative writing, but all that I write for Stephanie and SDM is stuff people haven't seen or read. I want people to read my work and see a bit of themselves in my characters.
Activities, Sports, Interests: I write, obviously, but I love taking pictures and hanging out with friends all over my hometown. I love to stay up late and watch bad TV. Right now, my friends and I are obsessed with that game for the Wii, Just Dance. I love being outside, like in parks and drinking smoothies. I'm in love with sports, especially basketball. My favorite teams are the Miami Heat and The Boston Celtics. My favorite baseball team is the Boston Red Sox.
Favorite Authors: My favorite author is F. Scott Fitzgerald. I fell in love with The Great Gatsby last year and have tried to read all of his works. I also love those trashy girly novels, like The A List and Gossip Girl. However, I love all different type of books because they are all different and amusing.
Favorite School Subjects: My favorite subjects in school are AP Government and debate. Not only are they taught by some of my favorite teachers, public speaking and the workings of our country fascinate me. It's a little weird, but it's fun.
Favorite Movies & TV Shows: I have so many favorite movies! The biggest ones are Cruel Intentions, Donnie Darko, The Notebook, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, The Proposal, and This Is It! My favorite TV shows are very interesting because no one really likes them. I love Cops, Celebrity Rehab, Make It or Break It, Greek, and One Tree Hill, among others.
I listen to: I listen to Coldplay, John Mayer, Michael Jackson, Dashboard Confessional, Radiohead, Lady Antebellum, Guster, and The White Tie Affair among others. I'll listen to anything though because I love music.
Most Important Values: My most important value is to stay who you are. Don't change because of someone else because people come and go. It's okay to be different.
I enjoy: I enjoy listening to music, writing, and taking pictures with my friends.
